With a career spanning over 20 years in the public health service, I worked as a nurse and later transitioned to an executive role focusing on quality and safety. In 2014, I started my academic journey at the University of Genoa in Italy. Alongside my teaching responsibilities, I have conducted extensive research in healthcare quality and safety, specializing in Geriatric Nursing, particularly malnutrition and swallowing impairments in frail individuals. I am proud to have published more than 150 articles in peer-reviewed journals.
