Sabine Stordeur
Sabine Stordeur is the Director-General of DG Health Care at the Belgian Ministry of Health, Food Chain Safety, and Environment, currently representative of the European Council Belgium Presidency
Sabine Stordeur worked for four years as a nurse in the cardiovascular surgery department at the Saint-Luc University Hospital. This was followed by an academic career at UCLouvain, where she earned a PhD in public health. She currently still teaches health policy.
In 2007, Sabine Stordeur joined the KCE (Federal Knowledge Center for Health Care) as an expert in the analysis of healthcare systems. She then became interim scientific program director. In November 2020, she joined the Vaccination Task Force for Covid-19 as a project manager.
